What is the Sermoon P1? "All in One, All in Flow"
The big idea behind the Sermoon P1 is a "grab-and-scan" workflow. Traditionally, high-precision scanning required a powerful gaming laptop, a tangle of cables, and a nearby power outlet. The Sermoon P1 changes the game by integrating:
Dual-Light Technology：Blue Laser for industrial precision + NIR for organic versatility.
Onboard Computing：A flagship-grade processor and 24GB of RAM.
Integrated Display: A 6-inch HD touchscreen for real-time mesh previewing.
Hot-Swappable Power: Two 3300mAh batteries for continuous field operation.

Sermoon P1 Key Features
1. The Hybrid Light Engine (22+7+1 Blue Lasers)
The P1 adapts to your object, not the other way around. It features a sophisticated laser array combined with Near-Infrared (NIR) structured light:
22 Cross Laser Lines：Optimized for "Fast Scan" mode. This grid covers large surface areas rapidly, perfect for capturing the body of a car or a large engine block.
7 Parallel Laser Lines：The "High Detail" mode. These lines focus on intricate surface textures and fine mechanical edges with 0.02mm accuracy.
1 Single Laser Line: A specialized Deep-Hole mode. It can reach into narrow slots and recesses with a depth-to-diameter ratio of 5:1—areas where traditional scanners usually see only shadows.
NIR Structured Light: A marker-free mode ideal for human body scanning or large, organic shapes.
2. Computing Powerhouse
You aren't just holding a camera; you're holding a computer. The Sermoon P1 is powered by a Qualcomm 8-core 3.36 GHz processor, an Adreno 740 GPU, and a dedicated 48 TOPS AI engine.24GB LPDDR5X RAM：Handles massive point clouds without stuttering.
256GB UFS 4.0 Storage：Stores thousands of high-resolution scans directly on the device.
Wi-Fi 7 Connectivity: Allows for ultra-fast data transfer to your PC or the cloud, reaching speeds up to 4.8x faster than Wi-Fi 6.
3. Triple Mode Flexibility
The P1 adapts to your environment seamlessly:
Standalone Mode：Scan and process entirely on the 6-inch screen. Perfect for on-site inspections or museums.
Wireless PC Mode：Stream data via Wi-Fi 7 to a computer for a larger viewing experience.
Wired PC Mode: For the absolute highest frame rates (up to 100 FPS) and zero latency in a workshop setting.
Who is Sermoon P1 for?
The Sermoon P1 occupies the sweet spot between entry-level hobbyist tools and five-figure industrial metrology systems.
Engineers & Designers: The 20-micron accuracy and deep-hole scanning make it a dream for reverse engineering and quality control.
Automotive Customizers: Scan engine bays or car bodies without the need for scanning sprays, even on shiny or dark surfaces.
Museums & Researchers: The standalone, battery-powered design and NIR mode are perfect for digitizing artifacts in situ without damaging them or hauling heavy gear.
Small Manufacturers: Use the P1 on the production line for spot checks and digital archiving of physical parts.
Why the Sermoon P1 is the "Best of CES 2026"
In the past, "portable" scanners still required a "computer-on-a-cart" nearby. By putting the processing power inside the handle and incorporating Wi-Fi 7, Creality has truly simplified the workflow.
The ability to scan dark and metallic objects without spray is the cherry on top, removing the messy cleanup phase from your professional projects.
Final Words:
Precision, speed, and workflow simplicity — all in one scanner. If you want the most portable, "serious" 3D scanner on the market, the Sermoon P1 is currently unrivaled in its class.
