I’m impressed with the Raptor Pro’s fused scans. Although it captures fewer raw points per second, the final scan is dense and retains good detail around corners and lettering.

The Raptor Pro handles holes and edges beautifully, and the scanned details come out quite a bit sharper. It’s honestly an excellent scanner, making it perfect for reverse engineering complex automotive parts like V8 intake manifolds and related components

I already own an Otter, and its near-infrared scanning is an excellent choice for full-body and body part scans. However, I also added the Raptor to my collection because I wanted the blue laser functionality for more precise scanning of small technical parts. I love both for different reasons, but I have to say, the scanning experience with the Raptor feels noticeably smoother
